Smith Architects LLC provided the design for the renovation of a 1,983 SF office in the Quaker Square Building for The University of Akron for faculty offices.

The Historic Quaker Square Factory was converted into offices, retail, and hotel use in the 1970’s. It was subsequently purchased by The University of Akron. The building occupancy is mixed between commercial office, retail, and hotel use with University use for dormitory and office space.

The program provided by the University required minor space reconfiguration and new finishes and lighting to be provided.
