Kent State University Re-Roofing 2018-01-03T22:40:06+00:00

Project Description

PROJECT DETAILS:

The KSU Reroofing Project consisted of the full shingled roofing replacement of the KSU CDC and RO Buildings at the Kent Main Campus. The RO Building also required a full plywood roof deck replacement due to extensive water damage.

We performed the Initial Field Investigation and Assessment to evaluate existing conditions, including ventilation, air tests for the presence of mold, condition of gutters and downspouts, deterioration of roof deck, and water damage to insulation and interior building finishes.

We prepared a report of Investigation and Assessment findings with recommendations for correction and worked with the Office of the University Architect to discuss and verify scope, schedule and site constraints and security considerations prior to preparing complete construction documents and bidding.
