Cleveland State University Area Health Education Center

PROJECT DETAILS:

Smith Architects LLC served as the architect for the Cleveland State University School of Nursing’s new Area Health Education Center (AHEC) Room 303.  The AHEC is located on the third floor of the new Innovations in Medicine Center (IM) at Cleveland State University, which was completed in 2014.  It is the last interior Innovations Space to be built out.  The high-end interior finishes and design elements of the original building are carried into the space.

The new AHEC, includes 2 flexible program rooms, a conference room with kitchenette, and an office.  It was designed for maximum flexibility with Wi-Fi, an operable wall, movable furniture and a small kitchenette for catering all-day functions.
